1. What does Federalism mean by definition and what does Federalism mean to you?
- federalism is a system of government in which a written constitution divided the powers of government.
- feeralism is where the government has divided powers between each system
- expressed powers- the power to lay and collect taxes, coin money, protect the country
- implied powers- the necessary and proper clause, that congress has the power to do things.
- inherent powers- a soveregin state within the world community
- to keep one side of the governmetn from getting to powerful so that we stay at peace in our country
- joins the national government and states into a single government
