Ch 6 Test

1.  Provide a paragraph on an important issue of your choice from Section 1:
An important issue in secton1 is extending suffrage: the five stages. The right to vote has changed over time because of many things, like religious test are not required any more, protect the right to vote for any citizen of any race or color, we can not denie anyone because of sex, African Americans get a full role in electoral  process, the right to vote when people turn 18.

2.  Provide a paragraph on an important issue of your choice from Section 2:
An important issue in section 2 is literacy, because of peoples ability to read or not can determine the way they vote. literacy is  important because you need to be able to read because if you can't people can take advantage on how you vote, like the will tell you things but if you can't read you don't know that what they say is the truth because its not write in front of you and you just list to what they say, although it might not be true.

3.  Provide a paragraph on an important issue of your choice from Section 3:
The fifteenth Amendment is a issue that is important to the voting and civil rights. the fifteenth amendment gave the right to vote to anyone of any race, color, or previous condition of servitude. It made it so that everyone got the chance to vote for who they wanted and what the wanted to see happen in America or their state.

4.  Provide a paragraph on an important issue of your choice from Section 4:
An important issue is people who do not vote. Why people not vote because they don't think that there vote will count or it doesn't matter if i vote, those are the ideas that people have so they don't go and vote. I think that it is important to vote because if you don't the person that you want may not win or the law that you want may not pass. that is why it is important to vote and it helps the country move on the next thing faster.

5. Explain voter apathy and what can be done to help it:
voter apathy is when people can vote but chose not to because the don't think that it will help at all so the just don't can about it. we need to show how important it is to vote because it has an impact on the elections if people don't then people aren't happy about what happens.

6. Explain the qualifications for registering to vote:
You must be of the age of 18 or older.
You must be an American citizen.
